I think the instructional design model that is most relevant to me is the ADDIE model. This was the first model that we learned about in HRD classes and it is the one that has stuck with me the most. While the Designing Effective Instruction book says that there are four components of instructional design which include learners, methods, objectives, and evaluation I think the ADDIE model makes more sense and goes in a more logical order. We kept this model in mind when working with our client and creating our final training program.
